We need your leadership now to help save the Oregon Health Plan and to ensure it is fully funded. Every year Oregon leaves almost $1 billion in federal health care funding in Washington, D.C. because Oregon does not raise enough matching dollars. I urge you to support the 4% Provider Tax to allow us to raise the revenue necessary to capture this vital funding and allow Oregon to expand OHP to cover an additional 80,000 children and 75,000 low income adults. Doing so will also help ease the burden on those who already pay for health insurance. Big hospitals and insurance companies can and must pay their fair share to protect the Oregon Health Plan.
